Here’s another variation on this same shot. There are countless variations that can be created from the SAME scene. Aside from shifting the focus and changing these images to b/w, I could have created further variations by rotating the camera at an interesting angle, slowing down the shutter speed to give the water more “flow,” etc. It would also be interesting to wait until it was darker outside, and then use off-camera flashes to create an interesting effect–perhaps a flash on them and another with a blue gel to shine through the falling water. Placing the engagement ring on one of the wall stones might also be interesting, and putting an Elmo floating face-down in the water would also change the feeling.
